Sutdio, Instructor’s Bios: About Pilates of Elmhurst
Pilates of Elmhurst Studio
Pilates of Elmhurst is owned and operated by two certified instructors; Bethanie Reidinger and Stacy Krueger. Both live and are active in the community of Elmhurst where they raise their families. Their passion for Pilates—and lack of fully equipped studios in the area—brought them to open the studio here to offer the community an opportunity to experience this wonderful form of exercise.
Bethanie Reidinger
Bethanie Reidinger holds a Comprehensive Certification with Power Pilates of New York City. After post-childbirth complications, Beth found Pilates was the only rehabilitation that was successful. An avid runner and cyclist, Beth began her teaching of Pilates in 2002. Later she continued her education and taught at the Multiplex/Chicago and at Body Endeavors Pilates studio in Chicago. Continuing education is highly important to Beth and she has been educated in Post-Natal, senior, special cases, and more. Beth has over 1000 hours of education in the classical method of Pilates. In addition to Pilates, Beth is a Spin instructor, a triathlete and a marathon runner—and a mom.
Stacy Krueger
Stacy is fully certified through Power Pilates' System Training programs. She fell in love with the pilates method when she saw the benefits in her own body. Stacy began teaching in 2007 and loves showing/teaching others the wonders of the pilates method. A resident of Elmhurst, Stacy is a triathlete and a mom of 2.
Christina Vermeulen
Christina Vermeulen holds a certification with Power Pilates of New York City in Mat and in their Systems Training Program. Having completed 8 marathons and numerous triathlons, Christina discovered Pilates as the perfect complement to her other athletic pursuits. She is committed to continuing education, constantly raising the bar in both her personal practice and in her service to clients. Christina is the mother of two. Favorite Quote: "Whether you believe you can, or you can’t, you are right." (Henry Ford)
Valerie Moore
Valerie received her Pilates Comprehensive certification through Power Pilates of New York City in spring 2009. She fell in love with the control of Pilates after having a shoulder surgery in 2005. "Pilates was the only thing that helped me bring strength, stabilization, flexibility, and confidence needed to return to my body after being injured." Valerie strives for excellence in her personal practice of Pilates as well as teaching Pilates to her clients. Before Pilates, Valerie was a dancer, and still enjoys teaching dance to little ones for over 10 years now.
