Bethanie ReidingerBethanie Reidinger holds a Comprehensive Certification with Power Pilates of New York City. After post-childbirth complications, Beth found Pilates was the only rehabilitation that was successful. An avid runner and cyclist, Beth began her teaching of Pilates in 2002. Later she continued her education and taught at the Multiplex/Chicago and at Body Endeavors Pilates studio in Chicago. Continuing education is highly important to Beth and she has been educated in Post-Natal, senior, special cases, and more. Beth has over 1000 hours of education in the classical method of Pilates. In addition to Pilates, Beth is a Spin instructor, a triathlete and a marathon runner—and a mom. Stacy, a former lawyer, medical social worker, and aerobics instructor, fell in love with the method of Pilates after she saw the benefits in her own body. Stacy began teaching in early 2007 and is continuing her education now, going through three specialty trainings by mid 2008! Continuing education has already been a part of her Pilates career as well. Stacy enjoys teaching and seeing the benefits it gives her clients. Stacy is also a triathlete—and a mom. Jill, a former Corporate Lender and exercise enthusiast, became devoted to Pilates after discovering how strong it made her feel, mentally and physically. Jill's further commitment to Pilates came after a serious medical setback. Rehabilitation incorporating the Method of Pilates fully attributed to Jill's successful recovery. Jill enjoys seeing her clients realize the benefits of this truly amazing practice of exercise. Christina VermeulenChristina Vermeulen holds a certification with Power Pilates of New York City in Mat and in their Systems Training Program. Having completed 8 marathons and numerous triathlons, Christina discovered pilates as the perfect compliment to her other athletic pursuits. She is committed to continuing education, constantly raising the bar in both her personal practice and in her service to clients. Christina is the mother of two. (Henry Ford) Valarie MooreValerie received her Pilates Comprehensive certification through Power Pilates of New York City in spring 2009. She fell in love with the control of Pilates after having a shoulder surgery in 2005. “Pilates was the only thing that helped me bring strength, stabilization, flexibility, and confidence needed to return to my body after being injured.” Valerie strives for excellence in her personal practice of Pilates as well as teaching Pilates to her clients. Before Pilates, Valerie was a dancer, and still enjoys teaching dance to little ones for over 10 years now. Mike Knollenberg MATMike Knollenberg has been a personal trainer for over 13 years graduating from Illinois State University with a degree in Exercise Science. Mike began his career in Chicago's Gold Coast as a personal trainer and held various managerial positions for Fitness Formula Clubs for over 7 years. Mike's education and experience has lead him to become a major advocate and provider of Muscle Activation Techniques (MAT), the revolutionary new process for correcting muscle imbalances. Throughout his life and career, Mike has chosen to work with a wide variety of people from the busy executive to the professional athlete. He has also worked extensively with people who have Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's, Fibromyalgia, Lupus, Osteoporosis, Cancer and Arthritis. His clients have retained his services for an average of 10 years. Mike and his wife, Nicole, have two children and reside in the western suburbs. |
